The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This photo shows streetcar tracks going under the Casco Bay Bridge and approaching what was the South Portland end of the Million Dollar Bridge. They are preserved in Thomas Knight Park in the Mill Creek (Knightville) neighborhood of South Portland, Maine.
About Mike Smetzer
I grew up in the clay hills of the Valparaiso Moraine south of Lake Michigan and took the bus to school in what was then the little farming village of Boone Grove, Indiana. After earning a couple of college degrees, I spent a decade in Lawrence, Kansas, before moving to central Maine. I am retired from teaching and now living on the coast of southern Maine. My primary photographic interests are nature, landscapes, and small towns.
