I remember this party/concert well as I hosted it with my friend Heather. The band had no name at the time. The base player, Stefan, was still in high school. This band was born of the local Cville jazz scene at Millers and Dave's return to town from South Africa. I was blessed to have found inspiring friendships and community here with the artists and musicians that brought this magical night and band to be. I love them all still. xo
