This was a confusing train, because the info seems to be mixed together with another locomotive made a little later by the same designer, but pulling the same train. So my info might be mixed a little bit, its hard to tell. They say this train is famous, and yet it was hard finding actual info on it, and not another reference to the image itself. Even the year of this image ranges from 1936 or 1939. Some say it was in service, others said it was at an exhibition. There are images that mention LaSalle Station, and others say central, but because I can't find structures that match this at LaSalle, its probably the latter.

That said, there is a colorized image that made the train blue. But it wasn't ever blue. According to an actual photo of one, and a whole bunch of train sets, it came in different shades of gray. One had a gun me...
