The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

About David Mittner
I currently live in Mesa, Arizona. I, however, was born and bred in the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania. My father, who was an avid railfan himself, spoon fed his sons the love he had for the Pennsylvania Railroad and other local roadnames. I attended and graduated from the Ivy School of Professional Art in Pittsburgh, PA. I have won many awards and accepted many commissions for my work. A number of my pieces can be found in private collections across the United States. Besides my accomplishments in railroad art, I have also been commissioned by several individuals to paint portraits and landscapes.
